Q: What inspired you to join the MapHabit™ team?
A: As the managing partner of a workers comp litigation firm which also handles personal and catastrophic injury cases, I'm constantly navigating the aftermath of unthinkable events. Q: What inspired you to join the MapHabit™ team?
A: One of the focuses of my work is in examining the development of digital technologies and using its power to help people. We are at a time where more treatment options are becoming available through mobile devices for people living with chronic conditions such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease. These options are safer, more personalized, and less expensive than ever before. I joined the MapHabit™ team to help bring this same level of intimate, high quality care to the millions of people living with cognitive impairment.
Q: How do you foresee MapHabit™ helping people?
A: I see the MapHabit™ System as a way to smooth out the ripples and wrinkles of everyday life, so that we can enjoy it whether we are 22 or 85. It is a virtual assistant for people and care partners who need and deserve more personalized attention. It is a powerful communication tool to allow families to stay connected. From experience, having a tool like this can promote independence and healthy living in a way nothing else has been able to achieve.
Q: How does your experience impact MapHabit’s™ success?
A: My perspective as a physician brings a level of candor and honesty not just to the team, but also as part of the unique philosophy of how we design our technology. Out team comes from strong scientific backgrounds with enormous creative and analytical energy, and we have been able to successfully translate that into real products that help real people by prioritizing them first.
